What is the MSDN Academic Alliance?
The MSDN Academic Alliance is an annual membership program for departments that teach and utilize technology such as Computer Science, Engineering, and Information Systems departments. The membership provides a complete, inexpensive solution to keep academic labs, faculty and students on the leading edge of technology.
With this membership, you and your colleagues will have the latest development tools, operating systems, server software, documentation, and technical references at your fingertips. In addition, students will have complete access to these tools on their personal computers.
How do you sign up?
You do not need to do anything to sign up.
Your subscription is added to the MSDNAA based on your affiliation with IST. You will know that you have been subscribed because you will recieve an email from the MSDNAA with title that might look like this, "Welcome to MSDN Academic Alliance: Online Software System". Please save this information as it has you userid and password for the site.
I did not get an email yet how can i find out if I am eligible?
Please contact the helpdesk to verfy your information.
